Our Lincolnshire PR campaign for client NBV Enterprise Solutions has just won them the front page lead story of the Business section of this week’s Lincolnshire Echo newspaper. The news story is one we all loved as soon as we heard it, and we couldn’t wait to pitch it to the Lincolnshire media.
We’ve won this Lincolnshire PR as part of a wider Midlands PR campaign we’re currently undertaking for one of our new clients, NBV Enterprise Solutions, who operate across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire.
You can read this Lincolnshire PR news story on the Lincolnshire Echo website and on our client NBV Enterprise Solutions website, but in the meantime we’ve included some snippets for you below:
Ten years ago, Janusz Lebioda arrived in the UK unable to speak or write a word of English. Now he has just opened the doors to his very own 3D filaments business in Lincolnshire.
Plastics engineer Janusz left his native Poland and came to the UK in 2005 at the age of 23, hoping to build a better future for his family. Slowly he taught himself English and a year later got his first job, as a factory operator making polythene bags.
But Janusz dreamed of one day starting his very own business, and in 2008 he came across NBV Enterprise Solutions in Lincolnshire.
They gave him advice about business ideas that would work and, by 2013, Janusz and his NBV mentor Mike Gibbs hit upon a workable solution: to make filaments for 3D printers. Janusz then spent a whopping 12 months writing his business plan – a job that he admits was not easy for him and involved many hours of writing and editing.
NBV advisor Mike Gibbs was determined to help Janusz make his dream a reality and helped him to perfect his business plan over the course of the year. They sent the final business plan off for start-up funding – and Janusz won a five-figure loan to launch his own company, Lincs Filaments Ltd. Now Janusz is celebrating after opening the doors and starting production at his very own industrial unit, rented from Lincolnshire County Council.
As former journalists, we know the fine art of telling a story that will make the news, and will make your company look inspirational. We don’t even need to be in Lincolnshire to win Lincolnshire PR, but we can safely say this story made a huge impact in the Lincolnshire Echo’s newsroom.
